I learned 2 very important cycles that cell undergo as we studied this semester.
photosynthesis and cellular respiration. In photosynthesis, sunlight is captured
in order to produce oxygen, water, and glucose. It occurs in the chlorophyll of plants
and also what gives them their green color effect. After the light is absorbed, it then
tranforms it into glucouse, h2o, and oxygen. In cellular respiration, glucose is broken
down into carbon dioxide and then released into the atmosphere. Also, the energy that is
emitted is atp and is used by cells. The mitochondria is generally the main point of where
metabolism takes place. Consist of 3 steps, glycosis, electron transport, and the krebs
cycle. My words chosen are generally related and part of the 2 important cycles of cells!
