I find these words to be the most important in this unit. These words are major links or factors that this unit talks about. the words glucose, cellulose, glycogen, etc are needed to sustain life providing energy. Proteins, Carbohydrates, lipids are also needed to store energy, and develop the structure of our bodies. Another example is pH. pH plays a large role in this unit as pH affects enzymes which are biological proteins that act as catalyst to speed up a reaction. It may denature the form of the enzyme where it may not function anymore to accelerate reactions which are important.
